アーミン 人気ミックスシリーズ第21弾『A State of Trance 2024』をリリース

Armin van Buurenが、『A State of Trance』のシリーズ第21弾となるミックス『A State of Trance 2024』をリリース。

『A State of Trance』は、2004年のリリース以来、長年に渡ってトランスファンに支持され続けているArmin van BuurenによるDJミックスシリーズ。 Armin van Buurenがホストを務めるラジオ番組名『A State of Trance』に由来している。
このシリーズの大きな特徴は、「Mix 1 – On The Beach」,「Mix 2 – In The Club」,「Mix 3 – Who’s Afraid of 138?!」という3つの異なるテーマに分かれてミックスが構成されており、シーンに合わせて聴くことができる点である。
今作『A State of Trance 2024』には、自身の作品に加え、HI-LO、Ilan Bluestone、Andrew Rayel、ARTBATらの楽曲を収録。 トランス界の重鎮から新進気鋭のアーティストまでを含む全42曲を収録した3時間以上のノンストップMIXとなっている。

今作について、Armin van Buurenは次のようにコメントしている。

Trance music has become so widespread and compatible with other genres that I’m having both a very fun and very difficult time narrowing down the shortlist to “only” 42 tracks. また、Armin van Buurenは、このMIXのリリースと同時に、新曲「High on Love」もリリース。
この曲は、2023年にリリースされた「Love Is A Drug」の続編にあたる作品であり、Vocalには”Anne Gudrun”を再び起用。 Armin van Buurenを象徴するトランシーなトラックと、Anne GudrunのエモーショナルなVocalが見事にマッチした作品に仕上げられており、MIXのオープニングトラックにも選ばれている。
また、3月開催された『Ultra Music Festival 2024』で初披露し、話題を集めた事も記憶に新しい。
